This course taught me the basics and fundamentals of content and grammar writing in professional communication.

This course has been the basis and motivation for my future career. I have learned hands on how to design several types of ads including radio, tv, print, magazine, newspaper and many more.

This course gave me a general introduction into practice of business with focuses on environments, strategy, organization, processes, tasks and ethics.

 

 

COMSOC 421-Intercultural Communication and Globalization

 

This course taught me how global processes shape intercultural communication and how globalization is understood, advanced, and opposed by different groups. 

 

 

COMJOUR 333- Reporting Across Platforms

 

Instruction in reporting, writing and editing news stories suitable for publication and on-air presentation. 

 

 

COMSTRAT 310-Digital Content Promotion

 

This course increased my technological abilities and showed me the correct way to promote yourself and others in this new digital era.

MARKETING 360-Marketing

 

This course gave me a brief introduction to the marketing process and the managerial side of decisions needed in this industry.  With a higher understanding in regard to product, price, promotion and distribution.

 

 

COM 471-Stereotypes in Communication

 

This course offered a critical examination of stereotypes in the media. Specifically, it reviewed representations of race, gender, and sexuality within a broad range of media, including film, television, music, sport, and the Internet.

This course helped me with my development of creative content for persuasive public relations campaigns through different media
